This season, after years of being a doting mother and wife, Stephanie is eager to return to work and launches her own foundation. When her husband Travis questions her ability to follow through, she sets on a course to prove him wrong.

Still reeling from her past mistakes, Brandi struggles to forgive herself and things get complicated for her when D’Andra’s friend Tiffany joins their circle of friends.

D’Andra struggles to get in touch with her sensitive side and reconcile with a side of her family she hasn’t seen or spoken to in years. In an effort to become a more forgiving person, she enlists the help of a Shaman, but when conflict arises with Kary her new skills are quickly put to the test.

With her house on the market, Kameron is desperately looking for a buyer before her dream house slips away, but her husband Court is keeping her in the dark on the logistics. As she struggles with her husband treating her as an equal partner, she also has trouble connecting with new housewife Tiffany.

In an attempt to heal the wounds left behind by her chaotic childhood, Kary is working on rebuilding her relationship with her mother. Afraid of making the same mistake with her own children, the pandemic has prompted Kary to take a hard look at what is most important to her.
Born in a small town just outside of Beijing, China, Tiffany Moon moved to the United States when she was just six years old.  The product of extreme “Tiger Parents,” she graduated college at 19-years-old and medical school at 23, where she finished in the top ten percent of her class.

Introduced to the ladies by D’Andra, Tiffany struggles to find the balance between her demanding job as a frontline worker during the pandemic and being a wife and a mother to her five-year-old twin girls.

The Real Housewives of Dallas is not returning to TV in 2022, Bravo confirmed on Tuesday, Aug. 17.

"There are currently no plans to bring The Real Housewives of Dallas back next year, and beyond that nothing official has been decided," the network confirmed to E! News.

However, RHOD hasn't officially been canceled. Much like with what happened when The Real Housewives of Miami went off the air for years before being revived by Peacock last year, Dallas' future is uncertain.

Season five of RHOD concluded back in May 2021 and starred Brandi Redmond, Stephanie Hollman, Kary Brittingham, D'Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott and newest Housewife Dr. Tiffany Moon.

Brandi hinted that she was saying goodbye to the show back in February after controversy surrounding a resurfaced racially insensitive video of her impersonating Asian people. In an Instagram caption, she thanked her fans for their support along her journey and added that "things come to an end."

"Today I pray that life brings each of you happiness and in prayer John 10:28 kept calling me," she wrote. "I prayed that the baggage of mistakes, feeling rejected, used and unworthy are no longer tied to anyones [sic] soul. I'm choosing to set myself free and lean into Jesus and I pray you'll join me if you too have these desires. We are worth happiness, grace, love, compassion and so much more. Stay strong and believe in yourself bc God always believes in you and is with you."

She continued, "I also want to thank you all for being apart of my journey these past few years. I have loved sharing my life with you but sometimes things come to an end. The best kind of ends are happy ending and I choose happiness. Sending you all my love and prayers."

And in May right after the reunion episodes aired, Tiffany surprised fans when she updated her social media bio to read, "Previous cast member of #RHOD @BravoTV" on both Twitter and Instagram. The Bravolebrity further hinted that she was leaving the show by tweeting on May 14, "Good morning everyone it's time for a change. Have a wonderful day!"

A rep for Moon told E! News that day, however, "The rumors of her leaving the show are not true."

Which three are rumored to return, though?

Kameron Westcott, on one hand, said that she didn't think anyone was leaving the show. "I think people always say that to get people stirred up and get people worried that they're leaving, but I really don't think anyone's gonna leave," she said, via Entertainment Tonight. On the other hand, it has been said that Tiffany Moon isn't sure if she wants to come back or not. And on February 21, 2021, Brandi Redmond posted to Instagram, saying, "I also want to thank you all for being apart of my journey these past few years. Finally, a tweet in July 2021 read, "Y'all ain't ready for this newbie! Let me repeat ... YALL AINT READY FOR THIS NEWBIE!" (via Twitter).

Meet The Ladies - Lifestyle - RHODurban The Real Housewives of Durban Cast Ep1, 2 and 3

RHOD: Cast Shakeup Seems Imminent As Only 3 Housewives May Return

Rumors are swirling around that the Real Housewives of Dallas cast is about to get a huge shakeup, with only three housewives rumored to be returning.

The future of the Real Housewives of Dallas is in question as rumors of a cast shakeup have been circulating, with only three housewives believed to be returning for season 6. Bravo's ninth installment of the Real Housewives franchise began airing in 2016 and was a welcome addition. The Dallas ladies provided a breath of fresh air and were different from other housewives in a positive way. During the first four seasons of the show, a majority of the conflict was between the other ladies and LeeAnne Locken. At any given moment, there was at least one cast member who had an issue with LeeAnne. At the end of season 4, LeeAnne was fired after she made racist comments towards newcomer Kary Brittingham, who is of Mexican ancestry.

A few other RHOD cast members have been accused of racism since LeeAnne was fired. Between season 4 and 5, a video of Brandi mocking Asians resurfaced on Twitter, with fans calling Bravo out for having a double standard against LeeAnne. Brandi apologized off the show, and also on the show, having to explain herself to new cast member Tiffany Moon, who is of Asian decent. Housewife Kameron Westcott and her family were also called out for their racist rhetoric towards Tiffany during a Twitter war which took place after the airing of the reunion. Kameron accused Tiffany of doing whiteface, because she used a clown emoji, while her husband Court said her anti-racism ideology somehow promotes racism. Court's brother also got involved in the drama, claiming she was blackout drunk when he met her, and insinuated she may have gone into surgery the next day while hungover.

Related: RHOD: Tiffany Allegedly Bullied Online By Kameron's Family Members

With all the behind the scenes drama, rumors started flying around that a cast shakeup is coming and only three of the current housewives will remain. The Real Housewives franchise Instagram page first posted about the rumors and also speculated the addition of three new housewives. There are a few reasons why the rumors continue to circulate. As Reality Blurb reports, Brandi seemingly decided to quit back in February, stating she is choosing happiness, but has not commented on whether or not she plans on returning to film since. Tiffany also sparked rumors she was planning on quitting the show, when changing her Instagram bio to say "previous RHOD cast member," after Kameron's outbursts on Twitter. Despite the change in her bio, Tiffany's rep maintained that she is not leaving the show.

While it is unknown whether or not these rumors of a cast shakeup are true, fans have already given their opinions on which three housewives they hope are staying. If there is one thing housewives fans can agree on, it is which RHOD cast members should stay. The general consensus among fans is that housewives Stephanie Hollman, Tiffany Moon and D'Andra Simmons should remain on the show. One fan was certain it would be these three to return, while another felt Stephanie and D'Andra were safe, but it is a tossup between Kam and Tiffany for the third spot. One commenter went as far as saying she really hopes Kam is not asked back on the show. If Bravo is planning a cast shakeup, they sure know what the fans want.

It will be interesting to see if these rumors are true when Bravo announces the cast for the show's upcoming season soon. Fans were complaining about a lackluster season 5, so it is interesting to know, if the rumors are true, if Bravo decided to shakeup the cast because of a subpar season, or because of problematic cast members. If the rumors are true, it will also be interesting to see whether Bravo will listen to the fans in regards to who they keep and who is let go. It will also exciting to see who they choose to replace the current Real Housewives of Dallas ladies with, assuming they really are going in that direction.
