A typical day at work is evaluating our inventory of cases. I often ask myself as a case manager, what can I bring to the table today? How can I contribute my time to aide to the needs of our patients, our offices, as well as my peers here in the office.

I've learned that its not how much you know in this department but rather how much you are willing to share what you know to benefit the team as a whole. The difficult part of this job is managing and balancing. From cases, to calls, to meetings, trainings, and other activities that our attention has to be given to, we often lose sight of what our purpose is here in Access Solutions.

The hardest part of this job is not having a teachable spirit. Every day we are faced with a learning curb and in order to be great at what you do, you must seek to find it in yourself to be patient, listen, watch, ask questions, take constructive criticism, and maintain a work ethic that will provide you with better opportunities in the future.

The most enjoyable part of this job are my co-workers that have never treated me like a contractor. I feel as if I'm on the same page as they are, and some of them continue to encourage me to keep pushing at being great at what I do. I do not take any credit for the way that I work today. In fact I truly thank my peers as well as my supervisors because they have instilled a desire in my heart to continue to strive here in Access Solutions. When one door closes, another will open, and this phrase has become an encouragement in my life.
