Marceline, the Vampire Queen (full name: Marceline Abadeer) is one of the main characters in Adventure Time and a half-demon/half-Vampire who is over a millennium old. During Finn and Jake's first encounters with her, she requests that they leave wherever they are as long as the areas belong to her. Though initially an enemy to them, she quickly becomes one of Finn and Jake's closest friends. Her father is the demon who rules the Nightosphere.

Marceline is over a thousand years old, as she said in "Evicted!" and "Daddy's Little Monster." In "Memory of a Memory," one of Marceline's memories shows her as a young girl playing near the burning ruins of a city, presumably the aftermath of the Mushroom War. It is later found out in "I Remember You" that the Ice King gave her Hambo during the war. It is revealed in "Finn the Human" that Marceline already knew the Ice King by the end of the war, confirming that the events shown in "I Remember You" happened during the war, not after. It has yet to be explained how Marceline returned to her family. It is revealed in "Finn the Human" that Marceline was still traveling with the Ice King as the events in that alternate universe cause the Ice King to die, and she chooses to guard his dead body.

When Marceline was a teenager, her father ate her fries in the ruins of a diner, as Finn witnessed in her memory. This incident damages Marceline's relationship with her father, which she later sings about in her "Fry Song." At a later point in her life, the first memory where she is chronologically seen as a vampire, she moved into the Tree Fort (that would later become Finn and Jake's home) with her boyfriend Ash. She would later dump him for selling her prized possession Hambo, a raggedy teddy bear that she carried close to her throughout the years of her life that the Ice King gave her in "I Remember You" when she was young. Marceline has also mentioned her mother, but no in depth information has been given about her or their relationship yet.

In "Evicted!" Marceline says that she had been traveling all over the Land of Ooo, claiming that she has had adventures such as riding Giant Goldfish and traveling to the Fire Kingdom, although, according to Natasha Allegri, she was lying and trying to show off. She has also apparently gained several places of residence throughout her life, which may have been in her attempts to get away from the Ice King.

It's unknown exactly when or how Marceline became a vampire, although she did not have a bite mark on her neck when she was younger. As revealed by her alternate version in Farmworld, Marceline does consider herself half-demon, which may be a major contribution to her longevity. However, this side does not give her any magical powers or abilities such as flight and transformation as well as a similar eternal youth to her father, which she appears to have gained due to her vampire powers.

Appearances []

Marceline first appears in "Evicted!" when she arrives in Finn and Jake's house and claims that their house is hers. She explains that she used to live in their house, and the place is still rightfully hers. Finn and Jake reluctantly leave their home when they decide that they are no match for Marceline's powers, and go house-hunting for a new place to live. When Finn and Jake finally settle on a house and get comfortable, Marceline immediately turns up and shows them that she owns that place as well. She also fights Finn and pretends to kill Jake, but she reveals that is was a trick, and she was really just having fun.

In "Henchman," Marceline forces Finn to be her henchman and Jake tries to save him. She was actually still trying to just have fun with Finn, and did this by tricking him into doing things that seemed awful, but were good in the end. Near the conclusion of the episode, Jake knocks off her sunhat and makes her endure the pain of the sunlight, while Finn tries to convince him that she is a good person who just likes to "play games" and make things seem worse than they are. When Jake leaves, it is revealed that Finn secretly helped Marceline survive the attack, deceiving Jake and letting her hide in his backpack.

In "It Came from the Nightosphere," Finn helps Marceline record a mournful song she wrote about her father being ignorant for eating the fries she bought. Marceline reveals the only way to see her father is to draw a happy face on the wall, throw buttermilk at it, and say a chant. Finn quickly follows her instructions, and opens a portal that allows Marceline's dad to enter Ooo. Marceline is angry at Finn for releasing her father from The Nightosphere, and her history with Hunson Abadeer is revealed. Finn immediately sets off stop her father from causing chaos in Ooo, and she comes with him, though she says that she only wants her ax bass back from her dad. When Finn manages to distract Marceline's dad long enough for him and his daughter to start reasonably talking things over, Finn suddenly attacks him and quickly sends him back to the Nightosphere. Though Marceline is upset Finn took down her dad right when they were making up, she is relieved that the drama is over.

In "Go With Me," Marceline helps Finn to make Princess Bubblegum jealous and eventually go to the movies with him. She states that girls like 'fun', and gives Finn ideas to woo her, including wrestling her and letting wolves loose in her bedroom. When her ideas are counter-productive and get Finn kicked out of the Candy Kingdom, Finn asks her to go to the movies with him, but she misunderstands him and responds angrily; Marceline thought Finn was basically asking her to go out with him, but he really just wanted to go with her as a friend. When he explains this, she accepts, and they go to the movies, only to leave early to do more exciting because they both find the movie boring and gross.

In "Heat Signature," Marceline reveals more of her condescendingly playful nature when she and her ghost friends trick Finn and Jake into believing they have become vampires. However, Marceline's friends go too far, putting Finn and Jake's lives in danger, and she ends up saving them from the ghosts and revealing to them that she was tricking them all along.

In "Memory of a Memory" Marceline is put under a sleeping spell by her ex-boyfriend Ash. When Finn and Jake explore her memory to wake her up, bits of her past are shown, from a moment when she plays with Hambo alone in the ruins of a city, to her tearful fry incident with her dad, to her angry breakup with Ash after he sold Hambo to a witch. After Finn and Jake manage to wake Marceline and remind her of why she broke up with Ash, Marceline lets Finn help her beat up her ex-boyfriend.

In "What Was Missing," it is evident that, although Marceline's past relationship withPrincess Bubblegum ended on seemingly bad terms, the two still care for each other to some extent. Marceline sings I'm Just Your Problem out of frustration, confessing that she does not feel like she is enough for Princess Bubblegum but wants to make up with her regardless. At the end of the episode, it is revealed that Princess Bubblegum's most prized possession is Marceline's old rock shirt.

In "Marceline's Closet," Finn and Jake hide in Marceline's house and end up hearing her recording some of her deepest secrets in song. They try to escape her house when she goes to bed, but she hears them leaving and stops them. She surprises them by saying she does not mind that they hid in her house, and explains that she hides at their place "all the time."

In "Return to the Nightosphere" and "Daddy's Little Monster," Marceline invites Finn and Jake to visit the Nightosphere, but is bothered by her dad, who wants her to follow in his footsteps and take his place as ruler. She refuses, and sings "Not Just Your Little Girl" with Finn and Jake, but is transformed into demon form by the Nightosphere amulet her dad gave her. When Finn and Jake finally manage to remove the amulet from Marceline's neck and they are about to escape the Nightosphere again, her dad runs up and tells her he is proud of her anyway, and he actually likes her friends, Finn and Jake.

In "I Remember You," its revealed that Marceline and Ice King were friends during the Mushroom War, when Ice King was Simon Petrikov and Marceline was a little girl. Ice King drops in on Marceline at her house uninvited for a jam session, bringing with him some old papers and memorabilia as inspiration for songs. When Marceline recognizes old pictures of her and Simon and some writing of Simon Petrikov's she tries to jog Ice King's memory, but it is no use. Marceline gives up trying to reason with Ice King, who cannot seem to remember any of his past. They sing an emotional song together, using a note that Simon wrote to Marceline long ago as lyrics. Marceline ends up in tears as she sings. Simon wrote the note as an apology to Marcy for when he would not remember her.

In "Finn the Human" and "Jake the Dog" it is shown what Marceline would be like if she had not become a vampire, and instead aged more normally. She is shown in Farmworld, and is an overweight, crazy old lady. She is not a vampire, but is only a half-demon. She protected Simon's body (as he died since he never became the Ice King), and tries to warn Finn before she is killed when the Mushroom Bomb goes off. Jake, however, undoes Finn's and the Lich's wishes, and the world goes back to normal, with Marceline a youthful-looking vampire again.

In "Bad Little Boy," Marceline overhears Ice King's stories about "Fionna and Cake" and tells him and his previously kidnapped princesses a story of her own. This version introduces her fictional male counterpart, "Marshall Lee."

In "Simon & Marcy," Marceline tells Finn, Jake, and the Ice King about some of her and the Ice King's adventures almost 1000 years ago, when he was still Simon Petrikov and they were friends. Her tale is set after the Great Mushroom War, and little Marcy ends up getting sick. Simon goes to great lengths trying to make her better, and has to use the crown, which increasingly makes him crazy but also gives him the powers to fight off dangerous creatures and protect his friend. He finds chicken soup to cure her, but, unsettlingly, he ends up calling her "Gunter" instead of "Marcy."

In "Sky Witch," Marceline enlists Princess Bubblegum's help to find Maja the Sky Witch, so that she can get Hambo back. After Bubblegum gets them past Maja's outer barrier, Marceline fights Maja's Crabbit Familiar, while Princess Bubblegum attempts to look for Hambo. Princess Bubblegum eventually encounters Maja, and they make a trade: Princess Bubblegum gives the witch the rock shirt Marceline gave her, while Maja gives Princess Bubblegum Hambo. Maja is satisfied with the trade, explaining that the prized shirt holds far more "sentimental freshness" and "psychic resonance" than Hambo does. Marceline and Hambo are reunited.

In "Red Starved," Marceline, Finn, and Jake, go to an ancient ruins to find a spoon. In the episode, it is revealed that if she goes too long without feeding on red, she will lose control and kill whoever is around. Knowing this, Jake ties her up, but she later escapes. Princess Bubblegum bursts through the wall in her Sand Worm just before Marceline is about to kill Jake, and Marceline drinks all of the pink ("low-grade red") from Princess Bubblegum. Princess Bubblegum puts the spoon on her nose and returns to normal.

Marceline is described as a wild rocker girl. Centuries of wandering the Land of Ooo have made her a fearless daredevil. She is a lover of all things exotic and still travels across the land often. She has a mischievous personality and is rarely intimidated. Despite seeming evil at first, Marceline is a trickster at heart, and her "evil plans" often turn out to be nothing more than elaborate jokes. She is described by Finn as "a radical dame who likes to play games." She loves to play pranks on Finn and Jake. She also occasionally has violent outbursts, as shown in "It Came from the Nightosphere." Though during her line in the song, in "Evicted!" she stated that since she has been alive for over a thousand years she had lost her moral code.

She can also be sentimental. She was very emotionally attached to her teddy bear Hambo, which was given to her by Simon Petrikov; after Ash sold it to Maja, she was furious and broke up with him. Later, Princess Bubblegum got Hambo back in the episode "Sky Witch."

Marceline seems to be very emotional. For example, in "What Was Missing," she seemed to be more aggressive towards Princess Bubblegum than she usually is. She is also very independent, and in early episodes would often act without concern for Finn or his friends. It is easier for Marceline to express her feelings through music, as seen with "The Fry Song" and "I'm Just Your Problem," but has trouble expressing them otherwise. She keeps a diary that she uses for inspiration for songs as seen in "Marceline's Closet." When Marceline read the lyrics to "Remember You," the song that Simon Petrikov wrote for her, she began to cry.

Marceline has light blue-gray skin and long, midnight black hair that reaches to her feet. She also sports two marks on her neck, which are presumably the marks of the bite that turned her into a vampire. Despite being over a thousand years old, her appearance and personality is that of a 18 to 20 year old. In the episode "Go With Me," her hair is shaved into an undercut, which reveals that she has pointy ears. She is very thin and sometimes appears to be thinner than Princess Bubblegum; however, her shape can vary slightly depending on who is drawing her. She is usually floating in the air but when she stands next to the other main characters she is taller than them. In most of her transformations, she is shown to have green eyes. Her looks are more likely as a result of her half-demon heritage than her vampirism.

Marceline wears different outfits in most of her episode appearances. Her style seems to be punk rock, or grunge with colors normally red, black, grey, and other dull colors.

Powers and abilities[]

Marceline has many supernatural abilities, some of which exceed those traditionally associated with vampires and therefore might be due to her half-demon heritage instead. She has been shown to possess the following powers:

  • Levitation: She has the ability to float and even to fly with careful control and rapid speed. She can even sleep while floating, as shown in "Marceline's Closet."
  • Pyrokinesis: She can light fire with only her mind, as seen in "Evicted!" when she lit up all the candles in the tree-house.
  • Telekinesis: She can move things using her mind, as shown in "Evicted!" and "Daddy's Little Monster."
  • Invisibility: She can turn invisible, as seen in "Heat Signature," "Bad Little Boy," and "Red Starved."
  • Necromancy: She can raise the dead, as seen in "Henchman."
  • Rapid healing: She appears to heal quickly from injuries, at least damage from sunlight, as shown once she was returned to the shade in "Henchman."
  • Shape-shifting: She has the ability to shape-shift into numerous monstrous forms, including a bat, a wolf, a reptilian creature, and a large tentacled monster. She appears to be able to preserve her clothing, even after changing into large forms that would cause it to break: in many appearances, the clothing disappears until she returns to her humanoid form, whereas in "Sky Witch," she performs numerous transformations while still wearing her outfit.
  • Eating shades of red: Unlike traditional vampires, Marceline is capable of sustaining herself on "shades of red," such as the color in strawberries, rather than being limited to surviving on blood. She has claimed in her first appearance in "Evicted!" to "sometimes" consume blood, but this has never been proved or referenced again. According to the note she left on her door in "Marceline's Closet," she gets lucid dreams when she eats tomatoes.

Marceline additionally seems to have control of how her long hair moves.

When she wears the Nightosphere amulet, she gains the ability to shoot green lasers which either vaporize or transform whatever they hit. She can also create or transform into a large cloud of blood mist with the ability to shoot green lasers. In addition to these things, she also gains the ability to devour souls.

  • Bass player: She is an expert bass player.
  • Singer: She is a proficient singer.
  • Basketball player: She can play basketball and perform a slam dunk without floating.

Marceline is very vulnerable to sunlight, as is common in vampire lore, but she does not dissolve right away however. The nuance to this in the Adventure Time world is that vampires are specifically vulnerable to direct sunlight. Marceline is capable of unrestricted movement on a bright sunny day provided that she shields herself, which she usually accomplishes with a combination of a parasol and a large sunhat, sometimes with the addition of full-length gloves to cover her arms. According to Marceline, moving around on a bright day still hurts mildly, comparable to scraping her knee, but she can bear it. Exposure to direct sunlight will cause Marceline to painfully melt into a pile of goo, though if she retreats into cover she can heal back to normal within moments. It is not clear if prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will eventually kill Marceline outright.

Also like typical vampires, Marceline cannot see her own reflection in a mirror. In "Heat Signature," Marceline explains to Finn and Jake that vampires cannot defeat ghosts: "It's like a rock-paper-scissors thing." It is unknown if Marceline is negatively affected by garlic because her only known exposure to it happened when Jake pelted her in the head with large cloves of it, so the pain she experienced may have come from the impact and not the exposure. It is also unknown if Marceline can be slayed with a wooden stake since Marceline hid when Jake attempted to do so, although a wooden stake to the heart would kill just about anything.

Music and instruments[]

Marceline is a very talented musician and songwriter, and is proficient at singing and playing her basses. Because she is ambidextrous like Finn, she is capable of playing her basses with either hand, and may even be able to employ double-handed tapping which allow her to combine simple rhythm progressions with lead parts. As seen in "It Came from the Nightosphere," Marceline is familiar with the production of chords, which is a technique not normally employed by bass players.

Marceline has three bass guitars, one seen in "Evicted!" a butterfly bass seen in "Heat Signature," and her ax bass in "Henchman" and "It Came from the Nightosphere." She seems to be most attached to and protective of her ax bass. The ax bass is supposedly a family heirloom as mentioned by her father in "It Came from the Nightosphere," and it was originally a weapon before Marceline modified it. It is shown in "Daddy's Little Monster" that she also plays and has a banjolele, or banjo ukelele. Though she has amplifiers, she does not usually need to plug her instruments into them.

In "Five More Short Graybles," Marceline is in search of a Wizard Bill's music store to find a guitar known to play the 'most savory licks in Ooo.' Whether or not she bought the instrument is uncertain, but she was shown playing it before the scene panned.

    Little Prying Pandorica

Marceline smiled as the celebration began to wind down, not that it had been a huge parrty to begin with, Jake and Lady had gone an hour or so before leaving just the four of them, just the four of them…and Simon. She couldn’t help but smile across the room in the ice palace at him with Betty…

OHMYGLOB! OHMYGLOB!!! HOW IS…? WHAT IS…? *lapses into incoherent blubbering

I just stumbled across this in only seconds, LITERALLY SECONDS, ago and I go to Tumblr and check the Simon Petrikov tag and this thing greets me!

It was surprisingly sad and bittersweet! I cried, man! I CRIED!!! And I rarely do when I read fanfictions, let alone for one so surprisingly short. This is powerful stuff and I applaud you for it! Not a lot of people touch the subject of the Ice King being a separate sentient entity from Simon. For most people, they’re just one and the same.

Keep up the great work! This was mathematical!!!

Marceline shouldn’t have started “seeing” her in the first place. Ethically, it’s probably not right for her to have weekly hook-ups with her boss. Emotionally, it’s also not good that she’s beginning to develop feelings—and there’s several reasons for her to be weary over liking someone. So, why’s she finding it so hard to actually cop out and end things?

Marcy tried to act nonchalant about the whole ordeal, but Bonnie could see the waiver in her floating. Red irises avoided her shocked stare. Oh boy, she must’ve been planning this for a while. Bonnie sighed, too curious about all of these secrets to deny her girlfriend her precious time. And maybe she was secretly excited to leave early. She glanced back over at her aunt, who was smiling warmly.

Marceline Surprises Bonnie with a date, but why is she so nervous?

Adventure Time+Steven Universe = She Ra — NEW AT Fanfic: The Vampire Court

I just posted the prologue for my new fanfiction:The Vampire Court

Summary:  No one in the Vampire King’s court was born a vampire. Each of them has their own story. Their own hopes and dreams. Their own struggles and failures. Their own nightmares and regrets.

    Current Word Count:  2013

Preview for - Prologue: The King

“Tuma flicked his ear in annoyance at the fly that had settled on it. He opened one eye and saw that predawn light was already entering the large cavern he and his family currently resided in. Ancient smells still lingered of dozens of long dead lions. There had been more during his father’s time, but the cycle was moving inexorably forward. His father had told him when he was young that Leo would not always be at the apex. Their species was already passing its peak in the timeline and they were now living in the aftermath.”

    A bad Adventure Time Fanfic

(Finn's P.O.V. Tell me if I made any errors and if I should post it on the wiki. It's only a crappy little fanfiction, though)

I walked through the door slumping my shoulders. That's it. It was over. Flame Princess and I broke up. She said she couldn't live like this, hurting the one she loves. She said something about discovering herself, she just needed to realize what kind of person she was. I know she still has feelings for me, and that helps me a bit, but I'm still upset. Worse than I was when Princess Bubblegum rejected me. This time, I had no tears, I just laid down on the couch, feeling like killing myself.

"Hey bro, why so down in the dumps?" Jake wondered. "Flame Princess again? "
    " W-We broke up."
It took a while, but I told him everything. Beemo gave me a big hug, and I just can't help but smile when he embraces me. Jake carried me upstairs, and dropped me in bed. He tucked me in and kissed me on the forehead, like my mom used to do. I wish Mom was here. She makes everything better. I turned around and stared at the gleaming sun, which began to fade away on the horizon. It reminded me of her lush, vermillion hair, her bright golden skin, and the lovely flaming dresses she would always wear. I closed my eyes and tried to forget, but I couldn't. I knew I would move on, just not right now.
"Finn! Quickly, come here!" I heard a feminine voice yell out to me.
I glanced out my window, and saw her, Princess Bubblegum, wearing a torn blue dress, and a large bleeding scar across her pink forehead.

    "What happened? Are you okay?"
She pointed out in the distance. Oh no. I saw a flame shoot across the forest near my house.
" AUGHH!" It was Flame Princess, shooting bright yellow flames across the land. Only, she looked a little different.
" It's all your fault! You said it would work! I'LL KILL YOU!"
Her flowing red orange hair had turned to a dull green, and her skin was a faint blue, as if she was burnt out. In front of her, I saw Jake running with an empty bottle.
"Finn!" Jake was yelling at the top of his lungs. "Finn, man! You gotta stop her!"
"I'm coming buddy!" I leaped out the window in my red pajamas. I was a bit embarrassed, but my best friend's life was at stake, and there was no time to change.
" Ow, OWEEE! My buns! I got burnt buns!" Flame Princess tossed some fireballs at Jake's bottom.
    "Flame Princess! Stop!"
"NEVER! CAN'T YOU SEE WHAT HE DID TO ME! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE HIM, NEVER!" Flame Princess was really peeved off. Her eyes were flaming like Marceline's do.
" I tried giving her a potion, to make her not hurt you so you guys can be together! But it didn't work, she's all green and ugly! Oh man Finn, there's just no solution, I'm sorry bro, I messed up real bad!"
" It's okay, I appreciate you did this for me, but there's no time for a hug, look!" She was headed towards the Candy Kingdom.
"NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!" I heard her voice getting closer to the kingdom. Oh glob, if she got anywhere near that place, it would melt into syrup!
She turned around and shot one last fireball at Jake. It hit him right in the chest. He fell down, but wasn't getting back up. I lifted up his head.
" Jake, you okay? Jake? Buddy?" No, it can't be. He's strong, he'll live.
" Finn, b-bros for life" he said with a smile. It faded away, just like my hope.
" Jake, jake?" He wasn't dying. He couldn't be.
"STOP, STOP STOP!" One more fireball flew straight into Jake's eye.
He mumbled something. It sounded like "Kill her for me."
    "Huh?" Not this. Not now.
It was too late, half the Candy Kingdom was destroyed, like my best friend. He wasn't completely gone, but I had to stop her.
"Finn, here!" Princess Bubblegum tossed me her electro-gun. "All the Candy People are in the castle with Lady! Stop her before they get burned! Hurry!"
I ran through the kingdom with a tear in my eye. The once beautiful sugary kingdom I once knew and loved looked like it was crushed by a meteor. Flame Princess was crushing every last piece of the Candy Hospital, believing there were Candy People in there. I was losing time. Every step I took made me more nervous. What if I don't save them? That question was glued to my mind, I couldn't think of anything else.
I darted to the Candy Weaponry Shop, thinking about the innocent people stuck in that castle. I peered inside the store. The only good weapon was a bow and arrow, everything else was cute and cuddly. Running out the door, I stared at Flame Princess, who was yet again cluelessly attacking a building, this time the Candy College. She finished scorching the school, and headed toward the castle. Tears flew out of my eyes as I knew what had to be done.
"WHERE IS HE?! Ugh, maybe he's in here," Flame Princess was complaining as she flew towards the castle.
"I'm sorry, I love you, but I have to do this," I felt like sobbing my eyes out.
She began burning up the castle.
"HELP ME!" I heard a familiar voice yell.
One last tear soared off my cheeks as I pulled back my arm. For Jake, I thought. I knew I would regret this, but I had to do it, too many lives would be risked.
"Where are you? COME OUT SO I CAN BURN YOU! Ugh, get out already!" Flame
Princess was becoming impatient and was about to knock out the castle with one big, bright, and deadly fireball.
"I love you, I'm sorry, but," I let go of the arrow. It struck her right in her neck.
I cried softly as I witnessed my ex-girlfriend fall to the ground. The fire began to subside. Even though everyone was safe, I dropped to the ground, sobbing. This was it, she was gone. I saw her spirit rise up out of her corpse. She looked at me, embarrassed and ashamed. "It's not your fault, it was the potion," I thought. Apparently she heard my thoughts, and nodded. I looked up at her as she descended into the sky with tears in my eyes.
"Hey, Finn, I'm really sorry about, um, Flame Princess," Princess Bubblegum put her arm on my shoulder.
"Thanks Peebs, I'm just so upset, but I'll be fine. At least I have Jake." She nodded.
"Hey Jake, guess what man? We did it!" I poked his shoulder.
    He didn't move.

Adventure Time - The Prince Who Wanted Everything - Fiona and Cake - Cartoon Network

    Quick notes:
    - This video diary entry was made 3 months before Simon and Betty along with Marcy, Marshy, Baby Finn and Baby Fionna separated.

    "Paper Steel Line"
    By: AstigPinoy

    Simon's POV, videocam
Diary, it's been 3 months since I made an entry.
But, I would like to tell you some happy news: I finally found Betty with 2 kids and the tiara I put on her head!
*videocam pans to Betty playing with Marcy*
That's my 2 princesses, Betty and Marceline.
*pans to Baby Finn and Baby Fionna playing with Marshall's Hambo*
That's the two of great legends, Finn the Human Boy and Fionna the Human Girl.
*pans to Marshy, sleeping on a sofa*
And that's Marshall Lee, or you can call him Marshy 'coz his name is a mouthful.
You may think, diary, that I may be not a human anymore, but I have to face the sad truth that me and Betty have become mere pawns of our own possessions (which is my Crown and Betty's Tiara).
But, with this small family which I have saw as my own, I will struggle for my sanity for me and Betty and the kids to live!

Three months later, they had to separate.
    Still Simon's POV on videocam
I had to say goodbye to the family that I have lived to see before I lose myself to the monster which is the so-called insanity.
Betty, I hope that we would build a kingdom together with the kids but because of our insanity, we would not to and we placed a barrier for the supercontinent, to have our own lands and not make war.
Marcy and Marshy, may you have your own kingdoms too.
Finn and Fionna, the two fighters, if you will have to fight us, may you guys have the sight to see what me and Betty are suffering.
And may you guys love each other. ( A/N: Simon supported FxF and MxML before he lost his sanity, he has his own reasons. )
Brotherly love is for my family.

A tear came from his eyes and flowed down his long beard.

And, the so-called opposite gender love, I reserve that to the 4 kids.

This is Simon Petrikov, antiquarian turned Ice King, saying goodbye for the last time.

He turned off the videocam and set off to create his Kingdom at the Land of Ooo.

So, what do you guys think?

Bathroom Wine — Can you do an Adventure Time Bubbline fanfic story...

Well, my writer’s block is significantly worse than I thought it was, but I wrote through it anyway. I hope you enjoy~

The heavy bass pounding through the room reverberated like a second heartbeat in Bonnie’s chest. Bonnie scowled around the red solo cup pressed to her lips. Finn had convinced her to come to the only halloween party on campus, only to disappear into the wriggling mass of flailing bodies on the dancefloor.

Every now and then Bonnie saw the bright red of Jake’s lobster costume from her dark corner. The group’s decision to dress as animals for the party had ended in Bonnie wearing a tight pink dress and a pig’s snout over her nose. She tugged the skin tight hem back over her thighs, longing for her full length dresses and cursing Lucy Sarah Parker for forcing her into the uncomfortable outfit.

As if summoned by Bonnie’s internal irritation, Lucy pushed through the crowd and bounced towards her. Her dyed purple curls jumping up and down with her exaggerated movement.

“Can we leave soon, LSP?” Bonnie shouted over the heavy music once Lucy was close enough to hear.

“We just got here,” Lucy frowned. “Stop clinging to the walls and come dance with me!”

Bonnie rolled her eyes and shook her head, voice already raw from yelling. Lucy shrugged and slipped back onto the dance floor. Bonnie downed her drink as Lucy vanished into the crowd.

The pig nose was digging into Bonnie’s cheeks, and her dress had slithered back up her thighs. Bonnie crumpled the plastic cup in her fist and let it fall to the floor in her irritation. She stepped on it as she began to push her way through the crowd and towards the door. Bodies smashed into her as she walked, making Bonnie’s tipsy gait even more precarious. She stumbled out of the house into the frigid air. The scant costume did little to protect Bonnie’s skin from erupting into goosebumps. Wrapping her arms around herself, Bonnie dropped down to the stairs, vision swimming with cheap vodka.

Bonnie’s head had barely cleared when another person slumped onto the step next to her. Bonnie startled and turned to the interloper. She vaguely recognised the other girl from her science lectures through the sweaty black hair matted to her temples and the wolf muzzle resting over her nose.

“Fuck, it’s hot in there,” the other girl slurred as she pulled a pack of cigarettes from her leather jacket. She tapped one out and tipped the carton towards Bonnie in a silent offer.

“No thanks,” Bonnie said, surprise lacing her words.

The girl shrugged and tucked the pack back into an inner pocket. She stuck the cigarette between her black lips and lit the end with an expensive looking lighter.

“Bonnibel, right?” The girl asked around the cigarette.

“Yeah,” Bonnie said, “You’re in my science lectures.”

“Yup,” the girl responded. She slid her index and middle finger around the cigarette and took a deep drag. Her exhale sent smoke spiralling into the air. Bonnie watched the gray smoke dissipate in the cold sky as the girl’s name clicked in her memory. Marceline was notorious for arguing with the lecturer. Marceline fiddled with the muzzle but left it on her face.

“Why the wolf costume?” Bonnie asked. She immediately regretted the drunken question, nervously tugging at her own hated pink hem.

Marceline swept her gaze over Bonnie and blew another cloud of smoke into the night. “Maybe I just wanted to sink my teeth into you,” she smirked.

Bonnie recoiled at the awkward pick up line and braced her hands behind her. “Don’t you need to blow down my house first?” She drove her teeth into her cheek, agitated that her lack of a filter was flirting back.

“And which house is yours? I’m hoping it’s the straw one so I can reach you more easily.”

The slur at the edges of her words had both annoyance and bravery sprinting through Bonnie’s bloodstream. It was likely that Marceline wouldn’t remember this in the morning, or at the very least write it up to a drunken mistake. Nothing that Bonnie could say would be of any importance once the sun peeked over the horizon.

The thought had her throwing caution to the wind and she found herself saying, “I’m smarter than that. My house is definitely made out of bricks.”

Marceline stubbed her cigarette out on the step, leaving a dark stain on the stone, and leaned further into Bonnie’s space. Bonnie suddenly realised how close their faces were, and her eyes dropped to Marceline’s lips.

“I guess I’ll just have to put in the effort to break through the walls then.”

“I guess you will,” Bonnie whispered, “I know where you can start.” Bonnie’s eyes fluttered closed and she tilted her chin towards the other girl.

Marceline wasted no time in closing the space between them. Bonnie felt the rush of adrenaline, the anticipation making heat flood her cheeks. She waited for the moment their lips would meet- Marceline’s muzzle bumped against Bonnie’s pig nose and Marceline burst out laughing. Bonnie leaned away from her, the moment shattered. She watched as Marceline tugged the wolf’s muzzle from her face, the elastic ruffling her hair. Bonnie reached for her own fake nose, but Marceline caught her wrist.

“Here,” she said, “let me get it.” She curled her icy fingers around the snout and pulled it off of Bonnie with a gentle motion. Marceline had a red ring around her nose from where the muzzle had been digging into her skin, and Bonnie was sure her face was in a similar state. Marceline curled her fingers around a strand of Bonnie’s hair. “You hair is beautiful.”

Bonnie flushed and dropped her gaze to her lap. She hadn’t died her hair in a while, and the pink was faded from a bright neon to a pastel, her blond roots washing out the colour even more.

“You’re beautiful,” Marceline added. “I’ve wanted to kiss you all year.”

    “You don’t even know me.”

“Maybe I could get to know you,” Marceline’s smile was wide and lopsided, made loose by the alcohol in her veins. She slid her hand further into Bonnie’s hair, cupping the back of her head.

Leaning forward, Bonnie brushed her lips against Marceline’s ear. “You should kiss me then.” Bonnie moved so that she could feel Marceline’s breath against her lips.

Marceline’s smile dropped and she pressed her lips against Bonnie’s. Bonnie sighed and the kiss deepened. Marceline tasted like smoke and vodka. It was exhilarating and addictive, and Bonnie looped her fingers around Marceline’s wrist to pull her closer. Marceline took the hint and pressed her fingers into Bonnie’s waist. The hand tangled in Bonnie’s hair tightened its grip and tilted her head.

A drunk student stumbled down the stairs and knocked into Bonnie, causing their teeth to clack against each other. Marceline pulled away and huffed a laugh.

Bonnie chased Marceline’s lips. They almost met in another kiss when Finn and Jake stumbled out of the house, arms supporting each other as they sang an offkey song in a language only they understood. Bonnie felt irritation at the interruption.

“I should get these two home before they fall asleep in some alleyway again.”

“Give me your phone,” Marceline said, holding her hand out. Bonnie pulled her cell out of the one pocket in the overly fitted dress and handed it over. Marceline fiddled with it for a moment before tossing it back at Bonnie. Bonnie fumbled to catch it, the last of the alcohol in her system slowing her movements. She glanced down to see Marceline had saved her number in Bonnie’s contact list.

“Let’s do this again when we’re sober,” Marceline said, pressing a hand to Bonnie’s cheek. She stood and headed back inside. Pausing by the doorframe, she turned her head back to Bonnie. “It was nice to finally meet you,” she said, before walking into the house.

Smiling down at the number, Bonnie pressed the phone to her chest, the taste of smoke still lingering on her lips.
