The College of Business and Analytics Placement Center is a dedicated career and placement office exclusively serving College of Business and Analytics students, alumni and corporate partners. Whether you are a student preparing for graduation or an employer looking for new talent you can expect one on one customized service. 


The Business Placement Center supports the mission of the College of Business and Analytics by ensuring that we are doing whatever it takes to prepare our students so that they are ready to begin their business careers. We support a comprehensive student experience with exceptional student services beyond classroom walls.


Our services start from day one as a College of Business and Analytics student and continues throughout a students’ career. We provide students and alumni with a wide array of career development opportunities, programs, career fairs, and exposure to many employment options. 


Dual Career Support for New Faculty

The Career Development Center has partnered with SIUE's Toward an Inclusive Model of Excellence project to provide a variety of career services and resources to partners of new faculty who have relocated to the Greater St. Louis area. Support for this initiative was provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF) through Award 1936141. Outlined below is a specific list of career services and resources available to help you on your career journey. Individuals are eligible to receive a maximum of three, one-hour appointments.

There are numerous opportunities for students to attend job recruiting events throughout the academic year.   

To aid students in finding career opportunities, the College of Agricultural Sciences holds two career fairs specifically for its students. In addition, the University holds several "All-Majors" job fairs during the academic year.

SIU Law graduates are ready for anything, ready to go anywhere. And they do. Serving as judges, working in the US Patent and Trademark Office, acting as presidents of state bar and judicial associations, as well as practicing in courts across the United States, these alumni are proof of our commitment to our students’ success. 

The Office of Career Services assists students with employment opportunities and serves as a liaison between employers and students.

We provide:

  • Information on job placement, including an online vacancy bulletin
  • Reciprocity arrangements with cooperating ABA-accredited law schools for shared access to resources
