    Some Link cab suspensions are equipped with our patented adjustable height control linkage, which allows for easy control over the amount of adjustment by rotating the barrel.

    Manufactured Lateral Control Rod

    The lateral control rod controls lateral stiffness and cab articulation. Each lateral control rod is manufactured with rubber bushings to assist with dampening.

ec georgiaI have a peterbilt day cab. It has the reyco spring suspension and the cab is mounted solid to the frame. It rides like a buckboard. If I would install one of these air ride cab conversion kits would it be worth the money? It looks like they run about $ Are they difficult to install? Would like to hear from someone that's done that. Tia


NCIADid it on our fld Very easy to do. Used a small bottle jack to hold and adjust cab. Worth every penny.

ManitobaDid my Freightliner with spring ride too. Very easy. Got most parts from wrecker . Air bags I bought new. All the
holes were there. Before its was done I could barely read the gauges going down a rough road. After much better.

Interstate 35 North iaCo-op here did there trucks about 8 years ago and the guys were real happy with the kits . Do it its deductable !!!!!


north central kyI just put a cab mate kit on a ford It was a nice kit that installed well. Two of us started on it after lunch and finished before 5 o'clock. I could do it in less time now that I know how everything goes. As far as helping on the ride I really haven't had a chance to test it out good besides the test drive I took it on when I finished. I'm pretty sure just from the test drive that it's going to make a significant difference. I'd say if you plan on keeping the truck, go for it.

Sw mnDit that to my Pete Best thing I ever did. It took about eight hours to remove sleeper put plate, window and air ride cab kit in and to finish out the inside.

Then after a year I remade the radiator support rods so they don't connect to the cab any more. I had the upper hose come loose a few times.

Most of the bolt holes were there but it is a aluminum cab so the others were easy to drill in. Just took a floor Jack and a board to push up the cab to install the kit. Also I had to put new exhaust straps on to hold up the exhaust since mine were gone.

Now I can drive down the road with out it sounding like I'm beating my head against the wall and chattering my teeth out.
