Seattle Bike Swap

Just a fun note from one of our amazing members! #happyplaceLori and Johann, thank you for the surprising, impromptu member-appreciation party -- complete with spinning wheel, candy bowl, and cans of balls -- that you sprang on Rana and me, and many other members, as we were leaving tonight. It was great to meet court-sponsor Val Hwang, who became very special to me because she found a candy bar that I could like, hiding at the bottom of the big bowl.Sorry for the Halloween-grabbing spectacle I made of myself at Lori's welcoming table; I certainly have not done that for 67 years or so. You re-created my greedy, thoughtless childhood, with extras. From a larger perspective, you two, along with the excellent staff you always manage to find, have created a wonderful, happy place for tennis lovers. I live within a mile of the center, which ranks in fondness right after my apartment and my daughters' homes. TCSP is indeed my home-away-from-home-away-from-home. So many enjoyable hours and so many good friends. For years, I greeted the front desk people with, "This is such a happy place." Still true. ~~ Mark Trevor Smith #memberappreciation#spinthewheel#halloween#candy... See MoreSee Less
